What is the difference between ground solar brackets and rooftop solar systems?

Ground solar brackets and rooftop solar systems are two different installation methods and locations.

Ground solar bracket is a system that installs solar panels on the ground. It is usually built on the land around the building and can be selected at a suitable location and angle as needed. The advantages of ground solar brackets include relatively easy installation and maintenance, and the inclination and orientation of solar panels can be adjusted according to actual conditions to maximize the absorption of solar energy. In addition, ground-based solar brackets can also use adjustable brackets to track the movement of the sun, thereby further improving energy harvesting efficiency. However, compared to rooftop systems, ground solar brackets require more floor space and require additional land and infrastructure.

A rooftop solar system is a system that directly installs solar panels on the roof of a building. It can be installed on sloping roofs, flat roofs, or other available spaces on the roof. The advantages of rooftop solar systems include not requiring additional land and infrastructure, and being able to utilize available space on buildings. In addition, the roof system can better integrate into the exterior of the building, reduce energy transmission losses, and fully utilize the shadows of the building to improve the efficiency of the solar panels. However, rooftop systems may require more complex installation procedures and higher maintenance costs, as they need to be compatible with the structure and roof materials of the building.

In summary, both ground solar brackets and rooftop solar systems have their own advantages and limitations, and the specific selection should be evaluated and decided based on factors such as site conditions, building types, and local regulations.
